81416 – Sunday [#57]: Wake 0800 – Long choppy sleep. Extended fast.

AMX – light, stretch, twist, abs.
2X tea.
Weigh in – Dropped into the orange zone [-1.6] not bad.

I feel I ate a lot yesterday, but the detox event helped. Don’t know whether that was natural or what. I didn’t feel sick. It may be that the Paleo eating has kicked in. We will monitor this. Another hot humid day already. Rest day, so no exercise workouts planned. Then, two days off, so no sitting all day at the comp or comfy A/C.

Round I: [T-F] late in the day, but solid.
Bkft: Beef burger, shrooms, scallions, cottage cheese.

Brunch – Aksum w/ Stazja: salmon omelet, salad and ice cream.
Walk around west Philly. Visit Marquis.
Home – tea, 2x scoops of p-butter and blueberries.
2d Tea and sleepy.
Probably ACV post shower. Let’s see what the weight looks like w/ a single round and lots of H2O. Might get a late one in.
ACV – weigh in 181.6 [+1.8]. Gained significantly more than yesterday but there’s a five to one difference in detox activity and no training today… but walking.

We shall see – G’nite.

81516 – Monday [#58]: Another small move in the ‘right’ direction, [-2 lbs]. Hot and humid, still, so I’m metabolizing and sweating off weight, it seems.

Wake 0400 – somewhat bewildered.
AMX – stretch, twist, the usual -  nothing extreme.
Tea…
Weigh in – of course I’m looking for the causes. Most likely diet and metabolism adaptations. Ate out a lot over the weekend, but still kept carbs low. 2 days straight training.

Round I: [T] – Late in the game.
Lunch  - Park’s 77% avo, Turkey, greens, cottage cheese.
Sneezing.. 3x.
Round II: [N] – blowout stack.
To the Y.. FF today and pre-work. Maybe some legs and pulls?

YMCA – pre-supps: BCAA & BY
Warm ups: step ups, step ups on hands (dbs), crawling and lion, fwd and bwd hops, twists.
Leg presses – lots of stretch b/w, wide grip, low pulls, legs elevated.
Pull behind the neck – supported.
Cable twists.. About 60 -70 minutes.

Round III: [NF] –
Functional Fitness – hot room, but made it through. Good sweat. Walk to market.. then ride home. Hot day but not as humid.

Home – not very hungry, but tired… more like worn out. A couple of scoops of p-butter, long chat w/ the Llama and cream fruit smoothie. Oh yeah, can’t forget the hot tea when I got in. throwing back some H2O also. Maybe ACV before bed and weigh out (182.4) of course [+2.8]. iced the ankle earlier, it flared a bit after class… did some jump squats w/ 35s earlier also. Ankle is not 100% yet.. still vulnerable.
Big whopper of a gain today. Must be a comeback from the weekend. Three rounds & 2 workouts.
We will see tomorrow…


81616 – Tuesday [#59]: Happy Birthday Pop. 4 months left. Weight’s headed back up. Cooler day. [-2 pounds] over night. Eyes opened at 0337 this morning – but waited around until 0400. Some thing about getting out of bed in the 3’s… that says “too early.”

Round I: [N] – AMX . neck rolls, chair stretch. More arms in the air moves. Twisting, floor work, kind of the usual. Keep it strong, slow, mindful no – or low impact.

Tea and the Daily geo-political scene. Weigh in, dropped 2 overnight, but not enough to keep me under 180. Will have to break even or keep the gain under a pound to hope to get back into the 170s. maybe a walk. It’s a non-workout day.

Bkft – turkey soup. Time to make more. Ankle is okay. Still tight @ wake. I used the thera-band to wake it up.

Gig: H2O today. Late lunch w/ Isabella.
Round II: [BFT] – blueberries and tea at lunchtime.
Round III: [X-N] – Yogurt and blowout stack (1430)
1.2 mile walk to order specks.
Meal: tomato, mozzarella sandwich at The Nook and chilled there for a while and
Round IV: [X] –
Meet up with Isabella. Vintage, 1 beer, H2O, arugula & cheese salad.
  Still humid.. so much for a break.
Full moon out.
Weigh out 182 [+1.6]. Not bad, but average.
ACV – H2O, early-ish nod. 



81716 – Wednesday [#60]:  Awakened by thunder storms and rain at 0113. Made it back to sleep and had some dreams that are just out of reach right now.

Re-wake (alarm) 0400 and got to AMX – chair w/ more arm raises, floor with more (3) shoulder-centric planks.

Tea
Round I: [N] – maybe F, but not concerned. Interested in where the gravity goes.
Weigh in: [-2.2] – WOW!
Bkft- Beef burger, shrooms, scallions, peppers, cottage cheese & morning stack (vits). Cooler today – much cooler. Full Moon days.

T-mix.. done. Second breakfast.

The ratio challenge seems to follow a pattern; the ratio widens as I lose weight, or overall mass. Fat and muscle drop, but not proportionately. Fat drops at a faster rate while muscle is preserved and the ratio increases. According to my scale muscle weight has not increased significantly since I’ve been tracking. Although the mirror and overall strength suggests otherwise. The 3:1 ratio was an idea – a goal that I wanted to explore and accomplish… just because… (no legit health or vanity reason). The goal might be working for (or against) me. Still the 175 lb. total body weight goal is in the back of my mid and could also mean a 3:1 or better ratio.

Round II: [TFL]
Lunch – Park’s 77%, turkey, avos, cot cheese, greens.
Blueberries and blowout stack: (2x Maca, Yohimbe, Siberian Ginseng, CLA and 1 CoQ10)

To the Y: Pulling and chest today
YMCA – Pre-supps BCAA and BY.
Round III: [N] –
Warm up “dance’ crawl, jump, lateral moves (weak and slow), jump lunges – basically get the heart going.

Lots of pulling and BWT and pushing from the floor. Got 3 handstands but no pump. Abs work, cable rows and shrugs… 70 minutes.

Ride to 69 – Aquarius diner..
Meal sausage and eggs – the usual.
Walk home… moderate walk.. kind of weak.
Home – tea.. might be an early one.
Meal (2) – turkey soup, half bowl before 20:00
Round IV: [T-N] –
More tea. I feel worn… again.

Made up my mind not to return to Temple and notified Anthony this evening. Now I’ll have to do the GX on my own. Wonder if I’ll bulk up without it.

Weigh out 183 [+3.2] the week is catching up with me I think.


 

I thought I'd add this chart to not only display my nerdiness [nerd-cred] but also show how my average weight per year has fluctuated. For the first part of this year (2016) my average was below 180 and with the start of the summer, ironically, because I think of the summer as the season for cutting... i.e. losing weight, I started gaining and the 2016 average rose above 180 and it continues to climb, and I'm wondering why. Is it me, or is it the earth? (This chart is updated as of today, 8-18-16)


81816 – Thursday [#61]: Wake with the alarm 0400.
AMX – chair yoga to floor yoga and stretch twists.
Tea –
Weigh in [-1.4] – odd of course. Looking for answers again, as always. Cooler weather. Gained over 3 lbs yesterday.

So it looks like I’ll have to restructure the Red Zones based on the yearly, monthly and weekly averages. It will be interesting to see where I am at any given point based on the “average.” It will of course have to be adjusted week to week, but I’m thinking since I’ve been keeping records for so long they won’t be very radical.

Bkft: omelet, shrooms, scallions, moz and cottage cheese.

Massage Day and should look for more yogurt and lunch foods. P/u specks today too.
Round I: [F] – Out, cool and rainy this morning. T-mix munch.

Round II: [T] – no meattoday, so far.
Round III:[T-N] apple. Massage time and it was much needed. Absorb it, feel tired. Good massage as usual.

Ride trolley, walk parkway.
Home: tea & honey nuts.
Ice ankle.
Meal: P-butter, blueberries, honey, & cinnamon.
Early to bed. No weigh out or ACV.

81916 – Friday [#62]: wake 0630-40.. ish. Long sleep – vivid dreams. Tony, Andee, Justin and Farrah… we were training  in a gym and she was amazingly fit and strong. I was at the airport with Tony and the plane was delayed. It never did show up.

Woke to a text that Mom had returned from the ER. Diagnosis in the message. Maybe I’ll shift my Tuesdays to her health. All this before I do anything else. It looks like a pretty nice day – but it’s early yet.

Think I’ll take the dive today.
Juiced – very strong and pure and H2O. took the plunge for 6.
Time for tea.
Round I: [NF] –
It’s a workout day. A YMCA day. Chest and legs. Still on DBs… until I can rock 75s (150 total) easily. I’ll stay away from barbells.
Substantial detox despite no night rituals. Metabolism is working without help naturally.

Weigh in – 180.2. early nod and no eats paid off.
Time for bkft @ 1100 – wondered why I can’t do this fast @ work. Well, duh! I’m up at 0400. Yikes!
Bkft: t-burger, peppers, cot-cheese, shrooms, scallions, the usual.
More tea and investing “research” time to head to the Y. have the blowout stack before I go.
Walk to 6-9.. Good sweat. I actually need to practice walking, maybe shop rite afterwards… maybe.

YMCA – pre-supps BCAA (out) & BY

Upper body work today and legs.
Incline press 35, 40, 45, 50 x 2
Decline smith press.. worked to 90 lbs. (2 x 45 plates) 5 sets. Muscle memory is real.
Flat flies (30 lbs) and cable and squeeze 3 – 4 bricks?
One-legged press – way to go + shin flex 60 + 70 = push ups pn db and calf presses.
DB pullovers – cable downward dog laterals.
More than 60 minutes… but didn’t really count.
walk to the Vietnamese spot.. Squid vermicelli – might be my last full meal. Walk home or ride?
Walked home, so essentially I walked home from the Y…

Round II: [NF] –
P-butter (late) blueberries, honey and cinnamon and tea.
Need to stretch, upper peck muscles are waking up. I’d best not let them go back to sleep.
Weigh out 183.2 +3 lbs. Big jump – but still burning, muscles and walked.
ACV before bed.. G’nite.

82016 – Saturday [#63]: wake 0700 – delay, delay.. no proper AMX.. I can break today. Thinking a series of small outdoor workouts and wandering.

Tea –
Weigh in 181.2 [-2 lbs]. average. Put on a lot yesterday. The bun probably.
Bkft – around lunch time: 2 eggs quesadilla w/ shrooms, scallions, peppers (need to get some chicken for this).
Round I: [N] – late.
Out to Clark Park. Meet up and chat with Dan and Home. It was cool chillin in Clark Park (but the workout series didn’t happen). Much activity. Home was… ok… got some shredding done. Located DD214, which didn’t mention.

Met Kimberly at the Y the other day, who told me I can get my Vet’s card in Media. Turned into some economic news. Joined Steemit… Learning curve there.

Did some shoulder work and drank tea. P-Butter, honey, blueberries and cinnamon, a bit after 2000. Jupiter 1 bout … maybe a late one.. but chlorella and ACV before bed. Quite a different pattern from last week.

Weigh out 182.6 [+1.4].
Read some and then doze. Refuel the life manifestation process. When I wake up next to Bally in Singapore, I’ll know this works.
